Sediba Hope Medical Centre (SHMC) is a leading non-profit corporation with a strong commitment to advancing healthcare
through clinical services, health systems strengthening, and impactful clinical research.
Established in 2012 as a non-profit
corporation, SHMC provides affordable, accessible, and equitable healthcare services in Tshwane, Gauteng, South Africa,
operating on a sustainable public-private partnership model that includes robust clinical research. SHMC public-private
partnership model’s delivers comprehensive administrative, clinical, research, capacity building, and community services. It has a
strong 14-year presence in Tshwane and serves a diverse patient population, including: homeless individuals, people who use
and/or inject drugs, female sex workers, medical aid and cash patients, and migrants and refugees, and youth and young adults.
